  • After Effects Warp Stabilizer not using available RAM

I’m using After Effects for a few intensive motion stabilization applications (on clips about 90 seconds long). When using Warp Stabilizer, After Effects is only using a fraction of the available RAM:

I’ve tried playing with the RAM allocation settings. Since I’ve read that Warp Stabilizer is actually an outside process, I’m currently allocating 60 GB for other applications:
    .
I’ve played with this number, and seen only a small change in the amount of RAM being used when Warp Stabilizer is running.

How can I enable After Effects/Warp Stabilizer to activate as much of the 128GB of installed RAM as possible?

Are there other ways of speeding up Warp Stabilizer’s analysis step?

    Here are my system specs:
    RAM 128GB DDR4
    CPU 14-Core Intel Core i9 9940X 3.3GHz
GPU NVIDIA Quadro RTX 4000 8GB
and I’m working from project files stored on an internal solid state drive

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can lend! Right now I’m looking at an hour of processing for each clip (and I have about 12 to process).

    Regards,
    Amy
