Sequenced render via Media Encoder
Hi,
My issue is this:
I build a lot of animations for Instagram Stories,
which are very often broken down into multiple sequences,
with a fixed maximum length of 15 seconds,
But may also be shorter depending on whats shown.I usually build a complete Instagram story in one composition,
But for rendering I have to go in and adjust
the work area by hand to the x sequences I want to be output
to be uploaded to instagram, which is especially tedious
when the client likes to do adjustments and the whole Instagram
Story has to be re-rendered into the same or adjusted sequences.I am aware that i could make x „render compositions“ that contain my main composition but just show a specific sequence of it but this system is prone to error should one of the sequences become shorter / longer in the course of client iterations.
I just wondered if there might be an intelligent, maybe marker-based solution to „cut up“ a composition for rendering it into multiple sequences, ideally in adobe media encoder.

Hey Max, interesting intentions! Few questions:
1. Do you expect other ‘stories’ to trim accordingly to respond to your changes in other comp?
2. Currently, how your main/other comps are designed most often? Is it a single comp where you manually edit work area one after another, or anything else?
3. Assuming changes are requested from a client, how it affects above? (2nd point) Are there only in/out point changes, or there might be more complex adjustments required?Find out more:
