I have a design and a strip with a text on it
and I have 5 more comps like this and I want to align the products to the strip in all 5 comps
the things I can’t do is past in place a guides
so I copied and place the products on different comps and that is good
but lets say I want to make something else
I created a square and then went to the other comp and pasted tha square and the square doesn’t show up..
and I don’t know why, anyone know why the square does not show up?

May be it’s because you are drag highlighting the elements on the page without actually selecting the artboard’. Dumb founded I drag highlighted the elements I wanted to copy. Then holding down the shift key I clicked on the art board. I then copied the elements, clicked on the artboard I wanted to paste into and pressed ‘Paste in place’. It worked!
Please make sure you activate the artboard you are copying from before copying. Make sure you click the artboard you get the darker outline highlight confirmation. Then you are good to go.

no it’s not a text layer it’s a shape and you don’t see it on another comp and I don’t understand why..

it should paste in place by default if the comp sizes are the same. I’m not having any issues like that.
