  • Buying Refurb MacBook For AE are these SPECS GOOD?

Buying from a business associate’s blog for $400, here are the specs.

    macOS High Sierra 10.13.6

    -i7 (I7-2620M) 2.7 GHz, Turbo Boost 3.4 GHz

    -16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 Ram

    -500 GB HDD

-Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB

    -Only 176 Battery Cycle Count

Curious if these are good enough for running Premiere and AE? Not a long term solution of a rig more like a 4-6 month solution while projects pick up for me.

Would love any feedback on this!

    Thanks again

Doctor who is the strangest metaphor about life. Sure we don\’t technically die and become some new person each day. But every year, something different happens to us, we\’re the same person but slightly different in time and space.

Good? No. Passable? Maybe, depending on what you’re doing in what resolution. If you need something right now then go for it. I’d personally save up and buy something better.

Yeah, for a short term solution you should be able to get by as long as you’re not editing like 4K footage or something. The graphics card will also hinder you from running some popular third party plugins, but if I needed that computer and knew it was only a short term solution, I’d get by with it!

    Hope this helps!
