Why does the “Glow Intensity” do nothing?
I have added the glow effect to these vector sun ray shapes from a logo in my video. Here it is with the Glow intensity set to 1.0:
Here it is with the Glow intensity set to 255:
No difference at all. It doesn’t matter what parameters I change, it makes no difference. Any help would be a appreciated.

I have the feeling that the effect is already pretty much maxed out at 1.0, especially if you’re at 8-bit. Does anything happen between 0 and 1? Does changing the glow radius do anything?
Have you tried changing the color depth of the project to 16 or 32 bits? I believe that remaps the slider to a different range and 32 bits might allow going beyond the “full” value.Kalleheikki Kannisto

Your radius is very small. Try increasing it.
Also try using the alpha channel and using A&B Colors.

That option has always been about luminance.
You have to be a little more creative with your layers to get that to work. -

If you use the Alpha Channel instead of the Color Channels and set the Glow Color to A&B Colors it doesn’t matter what the “luminance” of your source layer is.
