    Hello,

I’m trying to animate a graphic that was given to me. The graphic was made in InDesign. When I use the same font in After Effects, it appears slightly thicker than in InDesign. I’ve made sure the stroke is not on. I’m not sure what the problem is. Would love an answer to this as it is driving me crazy.

Update: I figured out that my bold was turned on. That section of the character window was out of my view so I hadn’t even considered it. Glad I could fix it!

I was about to ask if you were in Linear mode — the anti-aliasing in Linear mode causes text to be rasterized thicker as well.

I’ve had a few strange issues with using the faux bold and those other text options occasionally. If you run into anything weird with your text later remember to see if that’s causing issues. It normally works fine though!
