Warp Stabilizer Vertical Bounce/Stretch?
Posted by Michael Dominic on June 7, 2018 at 1:47 pmI’m stabilizing some footage and I notice that the WS at times compensates by stretching the footage vertically, making it look elastic, I have tried multiple settings but have not found a remedy.

June 7, 2018 at 2:17 pmI’ve not noticed it stretching it a whole lot vertically. Can you share an example of what you mean?

June 7, 2018 at 3:48 pmThere is only the option for “Position, Scale and Rotation”, not only position and scale. I tried it and it causes other oddities.

June 7, 2018 at 3:54 pmReduce the amount of stabilization to reduce these jello effects. It defaults to 50%, so dial it back to 15% and then go up from there. You’ll find that you get acceptable results with much less stabilization than you’d think.
