Backdating Vegas Pro Projects to Older Versions
Is there a way to force projects made in newer versions of Vegas Pro work in older versions?
Like say you accidentally saved a project that was originally made in VP 13 to work for newer versions like VP 17 and up. Can you backdate projects to their original version or even further back, or are they forever doomed to work with the newer versions?

Hey there, As of right now Vegas pro isn’t able to backdate a newer version to an older one. The only “Work-around” I can think of is to copy your timeline and paste it into the older version.In the future, keeping a backup copy before opening an older project in a newer version is probably the safest option.
