Complex Water morph
Hi!
just stumbled across this video : https://www.facebook.com/Golden1Center/videos/963918357093786/
and was wildly curious as to how they morph the text in the beginning of the video.Looks like they might be using multiple shape layers and some turbulent displacement to get the watery effect.
If anyone has any efficient solutions that would be much appreciated!

Theres a pretty close example with the script Super Lines
just add a little bit more displacement I guess…

It looks like it is stop motion ish. they probably animated a mr mercury..auto traced and at some point start turning it into text masks.

Anybody remember hand animating something with frame by frame drawings? The same element over multiple frames is a dead giveaway. Most cell animation was/is done at 12 or 15 fps and then double printed to get up to 24 or 30 fps.
