Adobe Unveils Powerful New Innovations in Photoshop & Lightroom

Your most tedious creative tasks just got easier! Excited to share what’s new in Photoshop and Lightroom.

We’re bringing creative professionals powerful new innovations across our design and photography tools, that are designed to deliver greater control and speed across every part of your creative process, from ideation to final production.

Here’s what’s new:

• Rotate Object in Photoshop is now generally available. What was once a tedious, multi-step process is now a fast, non-destructive workflow, letting designers tilt, spin, and recomposite objects from new angles in real time. The result: it’s easier to explore ideas, refine quickly, and iterate freely without rebuilding work from scratch.

• Layer Cleanup, originally previewed at Adobe MAX in October, has now arrived in Photoshop and intelligently declutters your layers by renaming and removing empty ones, so you can stay focused on creating, not managing layers.

• Firefly Boards now seamlessly integrates with both Photoshop and Lightroom and enables a seamless path from ideation to creation, helping you move smoothly from early concept to final output without breaking your creative workflow.

• Improved Search in Lightroom lets you find photos simply by describing what you’re looking for in your own words, making it faster and more intuitive to surface exactly the shots you need.

• New Film-Inspired Presets in Lightroom give you more creative control to deliver a nostalgic look, while performance upgrades like faster Assisted Culling and up to 5x faster interactive slider performance help you handle large shoots with greater speed and precision.

These innovations are all designed to help you move faster, stay in control, and focus on bringing your amazing ideas to life.

Explore the latest innovation available today in Photoshop and Lightroom. Can’t wait to see what you create!
