    Hey Eddie,

    Sorry, but you need to give a bit more context, as ProRes is normally a codec only used for video and audio together.

    What do you have in your timeline, and what is it that you need to deliver?

    PCM audio like video can sit inside a number of different types of file “containers”, although it may involve a “conversion” to a lower quality format.

    I attached .txt of a .mov with pcm linear video I rendered with and view media info. please check under audio. Why in format settings its little/signed? Please help me change format settings to unsigned big pcm audio to me I’ve noticed that unsigned big pcm or sounds louder.

    As this was answered in the Apple forum, there’s no volume difference between the two audio codecs you’re referring to. Changing from one to the other will NOT have any influence on the sound level. That is purely determined by the gain settings during the source recording and/or the mastering in the edit. But if you needed to do this, and it would make zero change in volume (I’m retired audio engineer), you should look at creating a custom preset in Compressor (if it’ll even let you do that).
