Hi, just wanted to pick the brains of the pro’s here about a workflow I am working on!
I need to recreate the start of this animation, essentially the kinetic boxes that move and grow, but somehow stick together. I have played around with Warp Mesh, and just keyframe animating, but wondering if there is a plugin/Effect I don’t know about that would speed this up. It looks simple, but is super complex

    Thank you!

Dig into AESCRIPTS website and check there. I am certain there is one for the box animation.
I’m old school I would have keyframed it 🙂

Yeah I ended up getting a good result using null follow points, but thank you I will check out the scripts!

sourceRectAtTime() expression method is the building block and the Null Points feature saves you one step. Also, look at purchasing scripts directly from developers – most have a store on Gumroad and purchasing directly from developers earns them a lot more than making a purchase from aescripts who make a 30%. So, help developers by purchasing directly from them. 🙂

Hey, what a coincidence! I just happened to mention the Flex plugin in my last two plugin talks.

Flex, you should research it. You can buy it from the official website, or get the download link directly from the introduction in my latest plugin talk video (•̀ᴗ• ) ̑̑
