  Huge heavy file with proxy

  Hi,
  I’m testing a proxy in a test comp but when I export and I choose to use proxies my output file is 1,5GB, if I don’t use them, my file is 600mb instead…
  Is that correct? Both files should be the same!

  Anyway….
  I think that could happens as my proxy file has a low resolution and when AE try to render a low-res file making it bigger, every frame has more colors informations due to blurredness of the smaller movie/proxy that is now stretched and made bigger… Am I right?

  You didn’t say anything about your source formats, composition settings or your export settings so it’s impossible to say.
