How do delete individual keyframes
Hi all.
I hope this message finds you well.
Can’t believe I’m having to ask this question, but I can’t seem to delete individual keyframes from the dope sheet page. If I am on my camera track and I want to delete its frames it highlights the the cube I’m animating and it will delete both even though they are separate animations.
I was thinking maybe I could lock the other tracks or use a qualifying key like shift or something. I can delete the entire animation, but I’ve even had problems with that. I go to delete the camera stuff and it deletes the cube.
I don’t get it. It seems like a very basic thing to do, but I haven’t been able to find anything on it looking on line.
Am I missing something?

Thank you so much for taking the time to do that. I really appreciate it. It seems like the going to the edit button works for deleting a track, but for the individual frames it looks like it’s deleting the frames from both the cube and the camera. I don’t understand why it does that.
Shouldn’t it just remove it from one track or the other? I’m imagining a scenerio where there are many more keyframes and wanting to just remove them from one track one at a time.
Am I missing something?

You’re welcome, Sean! you didn’t miss anything. Just when you delete a Keyframe for any object, it is automatically deleted from the Summary. Still, it doesn’t delete any Keyframe for another object, even if it’s in the same Time frame. I tried to explain that in the video and the screenshot below.
