Does it have to use CC Vector Blur? The examples you’re showing all look like Radial Blur (or similar).

Obviously I’m not fixed on the option it’s vector blur, but’s the one that is more similar.
Also, I tried a radial blur but if you observe the pics the blur has at least two different directions and angles.
If you have any other idea I’ll be glad to accept it 🙂 -
i’m not sure what you are using for your vector blur map, but i think if you use a simple radial gradient on a solid (or shape layer) as the vector map you should start to get a ‘zoom blur’ effect. tweaking angle and other settings may get the effect you are looking for.

FYI (sorry for the advertising)- you can always try SmoothKit Directional With Splines (in SmoothKit plugin by us, RE:Vision Effects), it allows you to shape directly a blur using AE masks. It takes a bit to understand how to control falloff with soft mattes…
