Is it possible to make layouts for footage?
Sorry if the title isn’t clear, not sure what the proper verbiage is which has made searching non fruitful (though I did try a few different queries)
My situation is a series I make involves 3 recordings overlayed on top of each other. The “A ftg” is full screen of me, the “B ftg” is a different angle of me, and the “C ftg” is whatever I’m playing.
I often switch from showing A & B ftg taking up the whole screen equally in a particular layout (<-layout 1)
to showing C ftg full size and overlaying A & B in the corners with a mask to cut out what’s non-essential (<- layout 2)
To make this work I make the layouts manually when I start editing the video, then copy & paste the motion and opacity from a previous clip. It’s not the worst, but I’m hoping there’s a way to make this more efficient by making the layout once then importing it into each new project and each ftg will fall into place with the template.
Thanks for reading, any insight is appreciated and I’m happy to clarify if needed.
