  Sony Vegas Pro 20/ Sound Forge.

  I have Sony Vegas 20 Pro that I upgraded and it comes with Sound forge 16. First off, it won’t let me open up sound forge at all? Yes Sony Vegs Pro 2o Registered

  Also, I have Spector layers Pro 3 and was going to upgrade to Pro 9 but does sound forge 16 do as much as the Spector layers programs???

  Vegas Pro doesn’t automatically setup a link to Sound Forge. You need to do that manually, as you could have 16 versions of Sound Forge installed and how will Vegas know which one to use?

  SpectralLayers Pro is very different from Sound Forge. It operates on spectrums instead of waveforms. It was also sold to Steinberg so take my advice, consider it an obsolete program if you’re not already a user.

  Just because a program is bundled does not mean it is valuable. 😉

  No you don’t. Sony sold it to Magix at version 13. Versions 14 – 20 are Magix products…
