    Hi!

I am looking for a satisfactory “Inverse Tone Mapping” workflow in DaVinci Resolve. (SDR to HDR Convert) .

The initial situation: I got a Rec. 709 UHD File and want to export it as an HDR without losing any color information or changing the color of the image.

With Premiere Pro I am getting a more or less acceptable result. But depending on the source material, this may work better or worse – obviously some color information is always lost. This is especially noticeable in very bright or very dark shots.

I am considering whether DaVinci might be a better tool for this problem.

Apart from the basics, however, I wouldn’t call myself a DaVinci Pro. Therefore, I am very grateful for any ideas and suggestions.

    THANKS
