Time stretch part of a composition and increase the layer length
I’ve got a complex composition with many, many, maany layers.
I would like to stretch the time between 2s and 3s, to make it 5s long. Basically I would like that my animation that lasted 1s and happens between 2s and 3s to last 5s. Now, the layer ends before the animation ends, so I need to adjust the length. In my case, I would like to add 4 seconds to the end of the layer. (because time was slowed down you). Moreover, If you use easy-ease interpolation, time that needs to be added to the composition length probably isn’t 4 seconds, but something less. The time you spent in the slow motion, needs to be added to the end of the layer so that the full animation displayed.
Can this be done with keyframes? I’ve seen Time Stretch under Layer panel, but that stretches the entire layer. I would only like to stretch 1 s of a longer composition and would like to avoid adjusting all the keyframes in the child layers of that composition.
I also tried Time Warp, but that didn’t correct the composition length. Is there a one step effect for this kind of task?
I hope I expressed myself clear. Thanks for help!
