Please help! Frustrating track matte/preserve transparency problem
Hello. I’d really appreciate if anyone could tell me what’s going wrong here. I’ll try to explain as simply as I can:
I have 2 comps. One is two animated shape layers. The other is a looping paper texture.
I want to confine this paper texture to my shape layers (so it looks like the shape is made of paper) but the two methods I would normally use aren’t working.
1. Setting the texture comp to preserve underlying transparency and setting it to multiple causes very noticeable white and jaggy edges.
2. Setting the shape layer comp to luma matte removes the white jaggy edges, but it makes the shape layers semi transparent.
Please if you could help at all that’d be great. Been bashing my head against this for hours.
