Smart way to create curved block arrows with animated reveal?
I’ve started looking at how to make block arrows that animate in in a curve behind a leading edge (tried attaching a GIF of this; hope I did it right), and I believe that there should be some smart way of doing this that I haven’t thought of. Right now all it is is a static shape for each arrow, a rotating shape for the leading chevron, and a mask on top of the static arrow shapes that I’ve manually animate to reveal the static shape behind the chevron. This works, but it feels like a stupid, manual way of doing this.
Does anybody have any ideas for smarter ways I could be doing this? I tried using an animated stroke that reveals the underlying image, but then I couldn’t get the chevron, or the stroke on the leading edge on the block arrow. Any suggestions?
