Audio in Timeline
I have video clips with 2 channels of audio. Both were from the same input, but assigned to different channels with different input volumes.
So, I have Modified the Audio Channels such that they’re each going out to a mono track. And out of the Source panel, they’re playing balanced center.
But when I bring the clip into the track, the two audio clips assigned to the overall clip are now both panned left. I want to either pan one left and one right, or at least both stereo.
I can do this clip by clip with the Audio Clip Mixer or by assigning the keyframe line to Panning, and adjusting the L/R on each clip.
BUT – HERE’S THE QUESTION. I can’t figure out how to do this on a mass level. I tried copying the first clip and pasting attributes > Panning onto all the other clips. It didn’t take.
Does anyone know how to do this?
Maybe what I want to do is a silly vanity this early in the editing process. But I find it very disorienting to hear both tracks just coming out of L and I’d like to either split them or balance them, even for preliminary assembly.
Thank you!
