Hey guys, I wonder if you can help me with something?
I am bringing an AE exported Quicktime file into Photoshop as “import files from layer”s but the colours coming into Photoshop are slightly dull and washed out?
What can I do to keep the colours as vibrant as the were originally in AE?
    Appreciate any help!
    Russell

Looking at the screen grab i’ve uploaded the both seem a little washed out!
but the red box and brown hair in AE are definitely a little punchier

If you’re using Color management you may turn it off. In the After Effects Project Settings dialog (under the File menu) turn on the checkbox for “Match Legacy After Effects QuickTime Gamma Adjustments”. See if that does anything for you.
Also, you may try using a different export format (Not QT)

Ah, still getting the washed out look with the match “legacy setting” ☹
are there many settings other than QT than I can import frames as layers into Photoshop
(I’m a bit new to all the many settings AE can offer?)

    thanks Russell
