Is there a way to release Trapcode by itself instead of entire MAXON license?
I was opening a very heavy project one one computer in C4D that takes about an hour to open, so I went to work on my other computer in After Effects. The AE project has some Trapcode effects and was making me release my MAXON One license on the other computer! I would have had to shut down C4D in order to work in AE on this project. Please tell me there is a way around this! Not good!

The Maxon One license is a license for the whole kit and caboodle. There are not separate licenses for each part of it which is unfortunate when you end up in this sort of situation.

On this kind of level, the program should be able to identify what’s going on and that I’m not using two programs concurrently. This is just WRONG. It needs fixing. I’m very upset about this.

If I disconnect from the internet on the C4D computer, I can release the license and continue working on my desktop. I will then be sure to close C4D on my laptop and exit out of my project on my desktop before I log back in on the original computer. I’m sure they don’t like this but I have to work and I have paid for this usage.
