  • Apply Blending mode with slider?

Posted by Duca Simone luchini on April 28, 2017 at 7:53 am

    Hi everybody,
there is a way to use only e certain percentage of blending mode, meybe using a slider?
I mean, there are many effects which are a slider to set up a percentage of fx to apply or/and e percentage of blending mode (of the effect).
But in AE, unfortunately…, blending mode can be 100 % or nothing applied.
    Suggestions?

    1) Duplicate the layer, set its blend mode as you like, and adjust its Opacity property.

    2) Use the CC Composite effect.

    Many thanks Walter,
so, if I’ve rightly understand these are two alternatives?
I mean, you can use Opacity on the duplicated layer OR you can use CC Composite effect?

Yes, I proposed two ambiguously-numbered alternatives.
