  Animating swirling paint

  Any tips or tricks on animating some mixing paint/ink? the colours wouldn’t need to literally mix nor would their need to be any sheen, just matte colours moving around each other in an organic/evolving way. Would it be best to start with an image of them already mixed and then working to edit that, or with some flat layers of colour? All help appreciated! Thanks

  Play with one of the fractal noises and colorama.

  Twirl and turbulent displacement will work pretty well.
