  Cutting a video layer and making the other layers adjust to fill the space

  I know such a thing exists, but I can’t remember the option for it. I want to be able to cut a video layer and then have the rest of the clips in my sequence move to fill the empty space so I do not have to adjust the other clips manually. Can anyone help me out with how to do that?

  To add on to this, since editing is hidden from me for some reason..

  How can I expand the length of a clip and have the other videos move over to accommodate the extra length? When I try this, it says “trim blocked”

  I don’t understand why the options to delete or edit this post are gone, but I figured out the answer is to use the ripple edit tool.
