  Time Remap Pre-Comps linked by expressions between Comps

  I have recently upgraded my AE skillset by using expressions this year — and it has been a great experience — but I am currently at a loss to solve this problem:

  >> DESIRED OUTCOME = parent/link the Time of one time remapped pre-comp layer to other time remapped pre-comp layers in a different comp

  I have tried copy/paste relative or absolute properties between the time remapped properties.

  I have tried things like Value=comp(“other_comp”).layer(“layer_name”).TimeRemap, which seems like it would work based on the AE documentation, but then the layer I want to be linked just plays forward at normal speed.

  I am doing things that would work for a property like Rotation, but Time Remapping seems different. How can I parent or link different time remapped layers between comps?
