  Stabilization software recs?

  I have some shaky shots I need to stabilize. I’ve used FCPX but I find it a bit lacking in that department. Anyone have 3rd party software or plugins they’d recommend for stabilizing?

  SynthEyes. AFIK it’s made by one guy named Russ, but it is extremely powerful and accurate. It’s been used in iconic films featuring motion tracking (the screens in Minority Report for instance) but it is also… well, designed by one guy. The UI is a little cluttered and the weird menus and checkbox options can be daunting. The manual is both essential and also written by Russ, who I don’t think was trained as a technical writer. That said, it’s a purpose built tracking software, something you can buy once and it’ll basically cover all your tracking needs way more adeptly than most big name programs.
