  Media Back Ups

  Hi,

  I’m looking for suggestions/recommendations for a back up solution for a new system I’m putting together.

  It’s a Windows 10 workstations with a 48TB locally attached G-Speed TB3 Raid attached.

  I want to run an automated daily back up of all AVID Media and Exports etc from the G-Speed (as well as the project files from the PC) to either an external drive or the cloud (or both!)

  I’ve previously used Carbon Copy Cloner for Mac and SyncBack for PC, but have been advised that these aren’t really designed for the kind of files I’m working with so aren’t recommended as reliable enough.

  Archiware has been suggested but it’s very expensive so looking for something more wallet friendly.

  Any pointers would be gratefully received!

  Acronis is a cheap solution from a big company.

  Archiware is more tailored to M&E, but yeah it’s expensive.

  Thanks – yes Acronis has come up in my searches. It’s around £50 compared to over £1000 for Archiware which seems almost too cheap…

  Any other suggestions?
