  No Audio playback in Monitor Window – Premiere Pro CC2020

  When I look at a clip in the source monitor, no audio can be heard. Even when I drag the clip from the sequence and play it, No audio or Bars. When dragging o. What is wrong?

  Do you mean a regular display monitor?

  Is the audio present on the desktop or any other software?

  Can you see audio meters during playback?

  Maybe reset the Preferences.

  Have you ever heard the audio on that system using video/audio clips?

  whenever I’ve had similar issues, it was usually something simple, like I had the wrong output device selected in preferences, so, as Eric suggested, check there first…otherwise make sure you haven’t muted the track unintentionally.

  Can you hear the audio through your headphone out?
