    Hi there.

    I am trying to create an animation where the “Noise Amplitude” from Plexus noise effector, react with “Audio Amplitude” layer generated from a mp3 music file.

    I tried to pick whip the stop watch from Plexus Noise Amplitude to audio amplitude both channels, but doesn’t help much. My Plexus Noise Amplitude changing from 1300 to a 0-10 (depend by music), I would like it to be somewhere between 1000 and 1300 and music to influence this level.

    Any idea for a script or something else?

    Regards!

    If you wish to remap one range of values to another, you can use one of the After Effects interpolation methods, like linear(). For example:

    var audioAmplitude = thisComp.layer("Audio Amplitude").effect("Both Channels")("Slider");

    linear(audioAmplitude, MIN_INPUT, MAX_INPUT, MIN_OUTPUT, MAX_OUTPUT);

    In that code, replace MIN_INPUT and MAX_INPUT with the bottom and top of the range that you want to map from the Audio Amplitude, and replace MIN_OUTPUT and MAX_OUTPUT with the bottom and top of the range you wish to generate.
