Clips not relinking unless original rushes bin is open at the same time
Hello. I’m working in an Avid project (v2020.10) with hundreds of hours off footage. I’m attempting to bring in .ALEs from Silverstack/Altera into Avid, which contain clips that are spread across the project, but they will only relink if the original rushes bin is open at the same time as the relink window. The clips all have TAPE information present.
This is an issue as I have hundreds of original bins and opening them every time I need to relink an .ALE isn’t viable. I’ve tried every combination of relink settings and import settings, on multiple computers – it will only work if the original bin is open.
Any suggestions on a work around or how to change the relink settings?
