  • Rotating a Shape Layer’s points w/o rotating the layer?

Posted by Eric Chard on March 5, 2021 at 4:01 am

I seem to have disremembered how to rotate (or in general Transform) the points making up a Shape Layer, without rotating the Layer itself.

I’ve also misplaced the procedure to simply lasso/rectangle select a subset of points making up a Shape Layer: I think it’s more modal than I remember and you have to be in some particular tool to accomplish this.

So, what are the respective procedures? Tnx

You can select and transform points when the path is selected in a shape layer or in a mask. For shape layer it has to be a Bezier path or be converted to a Bezier path. Just unfold the contents of the layer until you reach the one called “Path” (with a little stopwatch to the side)
