  Aftereffects suddenly won’t play the sound in my screen recording

  When I load screen recordings with sound into AE, it won’t play back any sound. I test the clip on Quicktime and it does have sound on it. Premiere also plays the sound; but AE will not for some reason.

  In the Preview panel make sure sound is selected for playback. Also make sure the sound is turned on for the layer.
