“Interrupted save” error when sending clips to Audition.
I can’t seem to find any solution to this issue after two days of searching so hopefully someone here has a fix. It may be more of an Audition problem than Premiere, but here it is:
When right-clicking on a clip on the timeline to open in Audition, the audio portion goes offline with blue diagonal lines and the clip fails to load in Audition. I get the following error message in Audition: this file was recovered from an unfinished recording or an interrupted save. When I go to relink the clip on the timeline it’s greyed out, and also unable to reveal clip in finder or project. It’s like it’s disappeared.
I had earlier noticed that Audition was giving me an error message saying my primary temp file location was full or no longer existed. Checked and reset and reopened and still the same, so I created another temp file folder alongside the /9.0. That’s when the problem started. So I deleted the new folder, updated to the latest version of Audition, but problem persists.
I noticed it’s only an issue with the older clips in my project, which were imported around three years ago. New clips don’t have any issues and open normally. I tried reimporting some of the old footage, both into their respective bins and also into the root of the project and I’m getting the same error message. It seems somehow the file path is getting corrupted in the older footage. Took the clips offline and then relinked but still getting the error. Perplexed.
