  Transforming a person to contour (outline only)

  I’m about to start a project where I need a contour (outline of a person) to figure as the main character in the film..

  The character has to able to interact with the recorded environment.

  We are discussing they ways to solve this in after effects and right now we think that the solution would be to use a green-suit and key it in after effects but I have no prior experience with this kind off work.

  So basicly I’m asking if there is a more suitable way to approach this project.
  If any of you have a good tip that would be appreciated too!

  When you say outline only, do you really mean just a line and no fill inside it?
  Do you plan to have the camera move at all during each shot?
  What kind of interactions are you hoping to do?

  The idea is that the fill consist of whatever would exist beyond the character.

  The character interaction amounts to regular office-like habits like cleaning your desk or getting coffee in the lounge. we

  The camera is to be controlled by a mechanical slider which can do the same exact movement more than once which can help match keyed character and matching background.
