  Render Setting Issue

  Hi. I am working with a composition of 4 sec duration length at 25fps. However, when I am adding it to the render queue it is showing ‘Start frame 00:00:00:00’ and ‘End frame 00:00:03:24’ . Time Span is ‘Length of Composition’. I don’t know what I am doing wrong but I just cannot render the entire 4 secs. I also tried taking 29fps in which case the end frame is fixed at 00:00:03:29. Please help.

  That’s not an AE issue, that’s a user understanding issue.

  You are asking for a composition that is four seconds long and you’re getting one. You are forgetting to count the first frame which is NOT, as you assume, frame 00:00:00:01, but is, in fact 00:00:00:00. If you create a composition that is four seconds and one frame long, you’ll get the ending number you expect.
