Any ideas on a pulsating grid of dots?
Posted by Noah Campeau on September 23, 2016 at 5:26 pmTrying to work out how to create a grid of dots that pulsates in scale across the screen. Something like in this Apple animation… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmV3KMniZuQ
I thought Form might be able to do it, but haven’t found a way! Anyone?
Thanks

Yes, Form will do it. You need to use Form’s Layer Map feature. This allows you to use a separate layer as a gradient map which influences the size of the Form particles.

September 24, 2016 at 6:34 pmIt’s not a very well-known plugin for some reason, but seems pretty powerful. It’s been used on several big-budget films. I’ve only used version 1, but Nodes 2 appears to have a lot of added features that make it more competitive with Plexus or Form in addition to its unique tools.
