  Hi all,

  Need help! I was wondering, does anyone know what technique is used to create this animation?

  If you have the Particular effect it’s very easy. If you don’t, it’s not too much harder with Card Dance.

  Doing a search for ‘card dance halftone’ or ‘particular halftone’ should find you some tutorials.

  Cheers! I used RetroDots and also on another version, Particle World from a file on https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/2/1040538. Slightly different results, but sort of works. Still difficult to get close to the NYT example though.
