  Creating/duplicating compositions independently

  Hello,

  Im trying to figure out what the best/easiest way is to duplicate my comps/precomps to be independent comps.
  To explain my situation, basically im creating hockey player cards. Not like the trading cards, but when you go to a hockey game and a player scores, its a short 10 second animation where the logo comes up with footage of the player and their name. I have a base file or composition finalized to work off of…but i need to duplicate that about 30-40 times for this whole roster of players so that i can do 2 for each player.

  The problem im running into is that the composition that im trying to duplicate has a bunch of precomps inside (comps inside of comps inside of comps, etc…) so whenever i try to edit it it ends up messing with the base file.

  I need a quick/easy way to duplicate the composition including everything inside so that every element is independent.

  you can re-import your project and you will have independent comps. and you can use this script – True Comp Duplicator script here: https://aescripts.com/true-comp-duplicator/

  Hi, I just got true comp dup. but it isn’t duplicating the expressions. I had “update expressions” checked
  I am using the latest version of true comp

  please help
