  • How to make your cursor into a trasparent circle (mac)?

    hi all!!

i’m not sure this is the right place to ask this kind of question, but i assume that it was involved after effects, so i guess i can post the question here.
i’m doing some user interface animation recently. and below is the example i found from dribbble (created by Yaroslav Zubko).

i’m 90% sure the interface and animation is created from after effects. but i was wondering how to make that transparent circle cursor in the view, looks like when we interact with our phone (open “Assistive Touch” feature). is this made from after effects as well??? (but that’s a lot of work, and it looks very natural and smooth) or does he just download some specific app to achieve that?? (i try to download this “Mousecape” thing, but the selections are very cheesy….)

anyone did this kind of ui motion before? or what do you guys think?

    thanks!!!

You make a transparent circle and animate it as a cursor would move.

    That is called skill.

Parts of the animation you might be able to capture with ‘motion sketch’.
Start the recording, do the action yourself with your mouse and refine…

    : D
    thanks bro!
i guess that’s why animation does take time to refine.
