  OBJ. file in to Element 3d

  I am importing an OBJ. file from Zbrush in to Element 3d for after effects. When I click the defuse button and add a image it only changes the color of the object to one solid color.
  If I add an image to one if the primitives that come with Element 3d it works fine.

  I have attached 2 images to illustrate what I am talking about.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!!

  Two things you can do in Element:

  1) Enable auto-normals. Your model doesn’t seem to have come with surface normals.

  2) Use one of the Element’s texture mapping options (spherical, cubic, planar) instead of UV mapping, since the model doesn’t have such.

  For this to work properly without the need of the two above steps, the export from ZBrush (I’m not familiar with the program) should include normals and UV mapping (if such is used).
