  basic question about rendering

  Hello, I am starting after effects and may wind up asking some silly questions on here, sorry in advance. Every time I manage to do one thing the next six things won’t work. First question for today is when I try to export my animation I have used the in AE export and the media coder app that comes with the creative cloud. Each time my character is frozen and not moving in the screen and my background has been replaced by black. I am doing something silly but can’t seem to work out what yet.

  Could you post a screenshot of After Effects and a second one of media encoder? There too many possibilities from your description and pictures will help narrow it down.
