I have the Sonnet Fusion DX800. Set up Raid 5. Using it for Avid video editing. Has worked well for a couple years. I’m now experiencing very laggy video playback. Won’t play two or three seconds without stopping or stuttering and causing playback errors in Avid and slow data transfers. I suspect a bad drive in the Raid, but it’s not showing any red lights or alarms. Atto Config tool shows all 8 drives green. Same result in other projects with other video. Tried restarting, Disk Utility repair, and Disk Warrior repair. No change. I have a spare drive. Is there another way to check individual drives for issues? Thanks!

the Sonnet Fusion DX800 has not been made in years. This uses the old ATTO R380 card. Is this the model that you have ? The R380 card has no drivers for modern operating systems.

Please give details on this, and exactly what type of computer you are running this on. A Win 10 PC, an old 2009 Mac Pro ?
