  Cinema 4D “living room” project ignores render settings

  I’ve loaded the stock “living room.c4d” preset scene (architectural visualization) into R21, and it comes in with render settings of 1280×653. When I change the render settings to the 1920×1080 29.97 preset, C4D ignores them, and renders to the picture viewer at 1280×653, even when 100%. The render settings still show 1920×1080, but the picture viewer shows 1280×653. It happens whether standard, physical, or hardware.

  (Yes, I have a legit install.)

  I haven’t seen this with other projects. Any idea what’s going on?

  Hi Steve,

  It works fine for me. Make sure that you are using the updated render setting by enabling it in the square next to it. It’s possible to be looking at another setting (Medium, for example) by selecting the name, but be using another one (Draft in my screenshot).
