  How can I remove a static translucent watermark from a video ?

  I have a video which I generated from a software that adds a watermark to the video it renders. The watermark is a static and a translucent one but the content behind the watermark is dynamic.

  Is there any way I can remove the watermark from the video? I have attached a couple of screenshots from the video to give you an idea of what I’m actually trying to do here.

  Any help is appreciated.

  PS : I’m a real beginner as far as AE is concerned.

  You could probably remove the watermark by buying the software instead of trying to hide the watermark.

  I’m a student and not really in a position to do so. I understand that it is unethical but I’m not stealing anything, am I?

  I’ll definitely buy the software once I can afford it on my own, but for now , this seemed the only way.
