  News style over-shoulder images – is a ‘drop in’ template possible?

  Hi,

  I need to have some over-the-shoulder graphics pop in and out of a project.

  It would be great if I could just make a “template” or such that would allow me to just drop the image onto it and have it show in the correct place / size without having to resort to manually doing all the possition/sizing with each graphic.

  I’m assuming that I’m creating every fly-in graphic to be the same initial size.

  Is there a way to do this?

  Hi Jef

  Quick and dirty way to do this.

  As shown in the picture below, just put all of the clips/pics at the top of the main track and resize, move, etc… everything at once with Track Motion. Make sure that they are all of the same size. Every time you’ll drop a pick/clip in that time line, it will automatically go to the box. (make sure that your cursor is at position 0 on your timeline before using Track Motion)
