This is embarrassing – audio keyframes?
This is so basic, but I can’t seem to figure out what’s happening. I want to do some rubber-banding on my audio track. My wrench icon in the timeline has “Show Audio Keyframes” checked, but I can’t see any levels. For that matter, I don’t see any levels on the video tracks either What am I missing? I mean, besides the keyframes.

In the track header there is a button for show clip keyframes or track keyframes.

One of the fun quirks of Premiere is that, if the audio channels are too small vertically, the line for levels does not appear.
Notice in the screenshot here that A1 has a line for applying keyframes, but A2 does not. The only difference is the height of the track.
The difference between theory and reality is that, in theory, there is no difference between theory and reality.

You probably already realized this, but the same quirk applies to the opacity level on video tracks.The difference between theory and reality is that, in theory, there is no difference between theory and reality.
