  cpu 100%??

  Hi,

  I have a project open in AE. Im not doing anything in the program, nothing is being rendered and ive cleared the cache/memory.

  My CPU has been over 100% usage for the last 15 mins. What could be causing this. Restarting the program doesnt help

  are you sure its even after effects….100% cant be right though…wouldnt that burn up your computer pretty fast

  Are you on a Mac or PC? Let me know and I’ll tell you how to check all the processes running that are a drain on your CPU.

  it was defiantly after effects. it was going from like 100 – 115% for at least 15mins.

  It seems fine now though anyway – thanks guys!
